In Charge

Since I'm the only adult in the house, I've designated myself the one in charge :)  (Let's just hope the kids are in agreement!)  Nick left tonight for a week-long trip to CO for some bike riding and racing.  Side note: I am deeply apologetic to him and his guest travelers for their detour back to the house to bring back the wallet I had left in the car :(  Anyway, the kids and I will have an entire week to fend for ourselves.  It will be a great end to summer break for sure!  We have plans to explore a little bit in our new town, relax, and visit Grandma and Grandpa Hammers, in addition to me getting my classroom all set up for the start of school next week :)
