Flat tire #1

Flat #2...

After flat 2 I had to get creative since I didn't have a patch kit, or another tube. I ate a gel, ripped the package open (very sticky) stuck it on my tube and put air in it. I was only 8 miles from home and was able to nurse it there thankfully!

Tree climbing hermit

We have noticed one of Cayle's hermit crabs on top of the plastic tree in the cage a few times. Last night, Natalie caught him in the act. It was super cool! Little guys a stud climber! Video is about 3 minutes long, but hey, crabs don't move very quickly...

Grandmas 95th

We left Gulf Shores at 5 am the last day we were there in hopes of getting back in time to see the kids and make it to my Grandmas 95th. 12 hours of driving later, we made great time and were able to participate for a bit and see everyone, including the kids, who were super excited to see us!

Lindy playing with Uncle Bob during mass. Mass was outdoor at 730. We made it back about an hour before.

They had turtle races before we got there, there were close to 20 turtles with names or numbers on them.

Kids sitting on hay bales during mass. "I'm from the country..." Country living at its finest. I love it!

Most of the family. My cousins!

Dermatologist

Natalie got me an appointment set up with her dermatologist today. Just a checkup. It was my first time ever! She said I had beautiful skin.... When I asked about the scars from my crash, she said they would always be visible, but at least they were beautiful looking scars. Not sure what that means really, but hey, I'll take it!

I did Learn something. You're body is not supposed to produce any more moles after the age of 30. So if it does, you should get it checked out.

She looked at a mole on my ankle, and proclaimed "it looks completely normal, but you definitely weren't born with it." I have no clue how you tell that???

Day 1 Gulf Shores

We arrived in Gulf Shores at noon looking for lunch. We were able to checkin early and headed to The Pink Pony for lunch. It's right below our balcony and is one of the places that was recommended to us. We both had fresh catch PoBoys. The fresh fish is so good! Love having all the fresh sea food! We got a few groceries them headed out for a nice long walk on the beach before having pizza on our balcony. So beautiful and relaxing!!!

I think/hope this is more of just a suggestion to help prevent racing...
