RIFs

So the school district has been talking about major budget cuts that were coming our way. Today and tomorrow are the days they are finally sharing who will be cut (RIFfed - reduction in force) and who will stay. We had been fully prepared for Nick's position to be cut. But, today he found out that even though his position does not exist for next year, he is still employed. What position he will be offered for next year remains to be seen - the subject and amount of time he would be working are unknown. So for now we don't have much more info on the situation for next year, but hopefully we will know more before the baby arrives in mid-April:)
