Took Cayle and Lindy to the Teva games today in Vail. Cayle rode his Strider around the entire time amongst thousands of people. He did so good! He looked like he was going to take out people so many times, yet he only clipped a few! He rode around for about 3 hours! He got lots of props for cruising around on that thing! Lindy slept the entire time in the Chariot! About 5 hours worth of sleeping by the time you add in driving in the car and all. Cayle enjoyed seeing all the bikes and dogs that were around from the Dock Dogs and the Pro mountain bike race! The big event of the 2012 Teva Games seemed to be the Gibbons Slack Line Competition. There were thousands of people watching this event! If you have never been on one of these things, you can't comprehend how difficult they are to master, or even to walk on!
On our way home we made a pit stop by Home Depot to pick up tomato and pepper plants for the garden. Those will be going in tomorrow. We didn't get many tomatoes last year (they are really finicky and difficult to grow up here...) but we did get a ton of peppers! That may have been my favorite thing from the garden last year! Hopefully we get a bunch this year as well.
